Frage nicht alles was du nicht weist denn es ist ein Fürwitz
Glaube nicht alles was du hast den es ist ein Leichtsinnigkeit
Gib nicht alles was du hast denn es ist ein Verschwendung
Sage nicht alles was du weisst denn es ist ein Thorheit
Urtheile nicht alles was du siehest denn es ist ein Frechheit
Begehre nicht alles was du magst denn es ist ein Unverstand

Ask not everything that you know not for that is curiosity
Believe not everything that you hear for that is credulity
Give not everything that you have for that is prodigality
Tell not everything that you know for that is folly
Judge not everything that you see for that is impudence
